Walk and Talk

There’s growing evidence about the importance of nature and green spaces for our health and wellbeing.

Walk and Talk sessions provide a fresh perspective on dealing with your work challenges and leave you feeling recharged, inspired and calm.

Spending time outdoors helps rebalance us physically, mentally and energetically, while counteracting the stress and isolation of being indoors too much.

Solvitur ambulando (it is solved by walking)

For purpose-driven folks who have a business or impact challenge they need to talk through and are open to integrating nature into business life, I offer forest based Walk and Talk sessions in the Dandenong Ranges (under one hour from Melbourne CBD).

Walk and Talk sessions allow you to step outside the confines of a traditional office space and disrupt your daily routine, opening up new possibilities for thinking and problem-solving.

Walk and Talk sessions take advantage of the calming and inspiring qualities of nature and give you space and time to think and solve problems. Sessions combine the benefits of movement and the natural environment. Whether it’s a reflective stroll along a gentle track or a focused march up an undulating hill, walking helps break through mental blocks and keep things moving forward. Some people may also find this dynamic approach easier and more comfortable than face-to-face meetings.

If walking isn’t your thing, sitting is an option too, which bring a sense of stillness and grounding while surrounded by nature.

The benefits of Walk and Talk include improved creativity, increased energy, better focus, stress reduction and a fresh perspective on your work.

What actually happens in a Walk and Talk session?

  • Start by booking a free 15-minute video chat. This gives us both a chance to get to know each other, explore what you’d like support with, and check that Walk and Talk is the right fit.

If we decide to go ahead, I’ll send you a booking link to confirm the session. Before we meet, you’ll be invited to share a little background about your business or challenge, along with what you’d like to achieve from our time together — so we can make the most of it.

  • We’ll begin with a few clarifying questions, then walk (or sit) and talk through your challenge. The session is conversational and collaborative — part reflection, part problem-solving — designed to spark new perspectives and ideas.

The focus isn’t on solving everything at once, but on helping you see things differently and leave with clarity, confidence and practical next steps.

  • I don’t provide a written summary or action plan, but you’re welcome to take notes or request an audio transcript if you’d like to revisit the conversation later.

If you’d like further support, you can book another Walk and Talk session or we can explore other ways of working together — from one-off advisory sessions to short-term project support.

  • To celebrate the launch of Walk and Talk, all sessions in November 2025 are free!

(Normally $149 for a one-hour session or $249 for two hours.)
